William Bryant is a dedicated strategist and community advocate who brings leadership, heart, and lived experience to his work with Just Getting Started Strategies. A North Carolina native and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, William is driven by a passion for equity, civic engagement, and grassroots power. With a strong background in leadership development and campaign organizing, he helps build inclusive, people-centered campaigns that reflect the South’s diverse and rising voices.
William's Story
William Bryant is a passionate advocate, trainer, and strategist who brings a unique blend of professional experience and personal conviction to his work in political consulting. A native of North Carolina, William’s background in customer support training and leadership development has shaped his ability to connect with communities, lead teams, and build programs that drive real-world impact.
While attending Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC, William served as Vice President of the College Democrats (2013–2014), where he helped organize campus advocacy campaigns and foster civic engagement among young voters. That experience cemented his lifelong commitment to progressive politics and grassroots organizing.
As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, William brings a deeply personal passion to the fight for equality and representation. His lived experience drives his commitment to creating inclusive spaces—both in political strategy and in society at large.
In May 2025, William joined JGS Strategies, where he combines his leadership expertise, community advocacy, and political insight to support candidates and causes that reflect the diverse voices of the South. He currently lives in Bishopville, South Carolina, where he also works on his family’s farm, balancing his professional drive with a love for rural life and hands-on work.
